Understanding project timelines and task relationships has never been easier! The improved Gantt widget allows users to:

• Clearly visualise project and portfolio timelines.
• Track dependencies and task relationships more effectively.
• Automatically roll up progress percentages at the summary task and project levels.

3. Enhancing User Experience with Smaller but Mighty Enhancements

Beyond the major improvements, we also showcased a range of smaller but impactful enhancements, including:

• An upgraded feed widget for better collaboration and visibility. You can now, directly from your feed, see exactly what has changed and even respond with a reaction without having to drill into the item. This saves you time and keeps you closer to the project, ensuring you stay informed and engaged without unnecessary clicks.
• The ability to share home page tabs to eliminate duplication of effort. With more users customising their home pages to display key dashboards and views in PPO, we’ve made it even more powerful by allowing users to share their home page tabs with other users on their instance. This enhancement helps teams save time and maintain consistency by adopting pre-configured, insightful home page views created by their colleagues, ensuring a more aligned and efficient way of working.
• Drill-down capabilities into key metrics for more insights. This enhancement makes it easier than ever to access detailed project insights with a simple drill-through from your home page key metrics. As users increasingly customise their home pages with PPO’s expanding suite of widgets, this feature ensures you can instantly explore critical project data. Whether you need to review at-risk projects where the project heath RAG is RED, pinpoint overdue issues, assess high-severity risks, or monitor outstanding work items, you can now drill down with a single click—saving time, improving efficiency, and keeping you focused on what matters most.

Client Spotlight: Insights from Momentum Africa’s Head of PMO

One of the highlights of the session was hearing from Victor Chidongo, Africa Head of PMO at Momentum, who shared how their team has leveraged PPO’s customisable Home Page Dashboard to oversee a portfolio spanning five African countries and the South African base office. Victor also highlighted how PPO has enabled effective benefits tracking, ensuring greater visibility and value realisation across their projects.
