With our latest enhancement to the Task Import Wizard, you can now delete all existing tasks in your project with a single click—saving you time and effort.
What’s New?
Previously, deleting tasks was a tedious process. On the Task List Page, you could only delete up to 200 tasks at a time based on the page size limit. For large schedules, this was time-consuming.
Now, we’ve introduced a “Delete all existing tasks” checkbox on the Task Import Wizard Summary page. Simply select it before submitting your import, and all existing tasks will be removed automatically before your new schedule is imported.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Baselining: If you delete all tasks, any historical baseline data will be lost.
- Validation Rules: If there are validation rules preventing task deletion, these will still apply.
- User Group Access: The option to delete all tasks will only be available if your user group has the necessary access.
- Time Entries: If time has been booked against deleted tasks, PPO will retain those time entries.
This update ensures a seamless and efficient task management process, giving you more control over your project schedules.
