For Earth Day 2013, PPO wanted to impress Mother Nature by activating our green fingers. A client, who is also a passionate volunteer at Lungisisa Indlela Village (LIV), approached our team with a request for a gift that would keep giving – trees. This fully sustainable village in Kwa-Zulu Natal places children without parents into residential care. We were so inspired by the wonderful work done by LIV, that we wanted to get involved and show our support by donating 77 fruit trees to the children. The orchard’s future colourful pickings will allow the children to make their very own Christmas puddings for years to come.
