The Johannesburg Roads Agency’s (JRA) core competencies are the planning and design, construction, control and rehabilitation of the roads and storm-water infrastructure in the City of Johannesburg.

With various million rand projects to provide quality roads that are accessible, safe and liveable for the communities they service currently underway, the JRA needed a project management tool that facilitates quicker decision making and better control. The JRA chose Project Portfolio Office (PPO) because it allows multiple project teams immediate access anywhere, anytime to a consolidated repository of project information.
